Ealing council have approved revised plans for eight flats above and behind shop units in West Ealing. The properties concerned are 72 & 72A Broadway, West Ealing.
There’s a trend in the UK to convert underused space above retail units into flats. This plan sees an additional story added to the top. The building appears to have scope for expansion above other units. The adjacent building, which houses Costa Coffee, has already seen an extension above.
The original plans were approved last year. These newly approved revisions are relatively minor and mainly relate to the inner courtyard. Full details below:
