Plans for a 25 and 35 floor towers in Acton are due to be decided by Ealing Council’s planning committee next week.

The plans would see 380 flats built at 2 Portal Way in Acton.

The site is situated between North Action Central Line station and Acton Mainline rail station which will shortly see Crossrail services.

Future Acton Mainline station

There has been a large number of new build towers around the tube station in recent years. However immediately to the south are a large amount of low rise industrial and office buildings including a Carphone Warehouse site. This is all set to change.

This exact site is currently occupied by Dephna Kitchens in the “Old Oak and Park Royal Opportunity Area”.

The site is being named the Culinary Quarter and the focus is on small-scale food businesses alongside flats. They’re be kitchen spaces (11 commercial kitchens) on the ground floor with 41 flexible
serviced office suites on the first and second floor.
